The Sunday Session - Dark Road

We are joining in again...but with just one song...
This is the Sunday Session - Something my sister Thea has started.

This song has brought me to tears many times. There are some things in this world that I cannot stand by and watch. The women featured in this video are normal women like you and me. They just happen to live in a very dangerous time and place. It is a dark road that they have walked.

Their hope and dignity needs to be restored.

There are teams set in place to perform operations and plastic surgery on these women, to help them begin the healing process. Many of the women who come into this project have been left widowed or abandoned. They need assistance with their basic needs.

"The wounds and scars are a constant reminder of their past and they’re also part of the reason for the harsh rejection they receive from their community and family."

Please help us raise money for the Watoto Living Hope project in Uganda.

We have a Facebook page set up called Auctions for Dignity and Hope. Just pop over there and ‘like’ us, then help us spread the word.

The next auction will run from the 25th to 31st of March.

  1. That's so sad Michelle. What some ppeople have to go through is beyond belief.
